Faculties and Departments
The College of Medicine, Ekiti State University was established in October 2001. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the State Government suspended the scheme and promised to review it at a later date.
Departments:
The Department of English and Literary Studies started with three Lecturers and eighteen students. At present, it has one three Professors, Associate Professor, three Senior Lecturers, three on the Cadre of Lecturer I and three on the Cadre of Lecturer II. Since its inception, the programme has been a combination of English Language and Literature in English.
Departments:
The University Teaching and Research Farm hitherto referred to as the University Farm was established in May, 1997 under the Vice-Chancellor’s office. It was later moved in March, 2000 to the newly created Faculty of Agricultural Sciences. The pioneer Farm Manager was Mr. Sola Waya who retired in January 2007.
